Unify NextLevel Internet, T3 Communications, Nexogy, and Skynet Telecom under a new name and brand strategy to help the parent company meet new growth strategies. Collectively the companies offer a full suite of UCaaS, CCas, and Fiber connectivity products. With offices in California, Texas, and Florida, it was important to have a well orchestrated rebrand and launch.

Result

After several name explorations and legal consultations, Verve Cloud was selected for the consumer and Verve Technologies for the parent company. The name Verve perfectly describes the company’s passion for delivering hyper-personal and enthusiastic 24/7 customer service. We further reinforced the enthusiastic spirit of Verve to shine through a radiant color palette and dynamic motion ribbons that represent the seamless connectivity of the services provided. The new brand has been very well received and praised by staff, clients and industry partners.

Kalei’s Kitchenette

HAWAIIAN INSPIRED ISLAND CUISINE

Scope

Raised in Maui, Chef Andy and Khara Mangiduyos started a catering business in San Diego that featured Pacific Rim and Hawaiian cuisine. After several years of success they were ready to open their first brick-and-mortar shop to make their delicious food available to the general public. It was important for them to partner with an agency that had a great understanding for the Hawaiian culture and understood the importance of branding a new restaurant.

Result

With a new brand that reflects the beauty and authenticity of the island culture, Kalei’s is successfully keeping up with the long lines at their restaurant. The new brand and support graphic elements have proven to be very successful. Sales have continually increased week after week, merchandise is very popular, and past clients have taken notice to their success. While the food and service is most important, Andy and Khara also recognize that the brand we shaped for them has played a very important role in their success.

Scope

ICE Recovery & Wellness in Carmel Valley is the premier provider of today’s most sought after recovery modalities including cryotherapy, infrared sauna, Normatec compression, IV nutrition and EMSculpt NEO for fat loss and muscle building. After much success in Los Angeles, the first location in San Diego provided the perfect opportunity to update the overall brand.

Result

The project started with extensive competitive and industry research. We developed a fun tone of voice to support the overall brand strategy and carried that throughout collateral, social media graphics, emails, postcards, direct mail, ads, and interior graphics to create strong brand awareness from day one in a new market. Understanding the necessity for community engagement, our team developed marketing executions that would have effective outreach and impact, specifically within a 10 mile radius.

California American Water

Solving Monterey’s Water Supply Crisis

Scope

California American Water (CalAm) is a regulated water utility that provides reliable water services to more than 630,000 people in multiple locations throughout the state. CalAm seeks to solve Monterey’s water crisis through an environmentally-friendly desalination plant, underground water storage, and groundwater replenishment, and partnered with Buchanan to develop a clear brand strategy and identity for their complex project.

Result

As this project progresses and continues to gain acceptance, the clarity provided by our strategy and messaging, as well as the cohesive look provided by our identity and creative efforts, have given CalAm a more notable presence in the community and a persuasive message that is helping to expand community support for their endeavors.

Preserving A California Landmark

Scope

Crystal Cove Conservancy is dedicated to the protection, preservation, and sustainability of Crystal Cove State Park. Its unique history and unmatched natural environment is a hidden gem in Southern California.

Result

Being a well-known southern California landmark, we were honored when Crystal Cove contacted us to partner with them for this important effort. The rebrand included an intensive discovery insight workshop, naming strategy, and research phase including interviews and surveys. All of this resulted in a detailed brand guide that also included important messaging guidelines so that key members of the organization deliver branded messaging to the community consistently and cohesively.

Qualcomm is a multinational corporation that designs and markets wireless telecommunications products and services. The company is headquartered in San Diego and has over 200 locations worldwide.

Result

Qualcomm has partnered with us on many brand, design, and marketing projects over the years and most recently, initiatives to help bring their robust new brand guidelines to life. As a preferred creative partner for their internal brand department, we were asked to help introduce the new brand and then create numerous new communication and marketing materials to meet the goals for various departments throughout the organization. Additionally, we helped solve challenges with the new brand guides to ensure the execution of materials met Qualcomm’s high standards.

Growing Hope Globally

A Christian Response to Hunger

Scope

Growing Hope Globally is an international nonprofit that links the grassroots energy and commitment of agricultural communities around the world with the capability and desire of small farmers in developing countries to grow lasting solutions to hunger. They have helped over 1 million people become food secure since their founding in 1999.

Result

Physical Therapy Devices

Scope

PrePak Products manufactures exercise and physical therapy devices for clinic and home use. Their technology and products have set the standard for the industry since 1985. Today, PrePak leads the industry with their products and are recognized as the preferred products for physical therapists, fitness professionals, and home workout enthusiasts.

Result

Prepak Products contacted Buchanan Brand + Design to initially develop a new brand identity for the established company. Their brand identity and materials had become aged and disjointed and they recognized the need to elevate their brand through a new logo identity and more cohesive brand and marketing materials. The ongoing relationship with PrePak has seen a shift in strategy that led to the evolution of the brand and all new packaging and marketing materials.

TEL HI was founded in San Francisco in 1890 to improve the social and living conditions of their community. More than a century later those needs are sharper than ever. Today, TEL HI serves approximately 700 people each day, providing a wide range of services to toddlers, children, teens, families and seniors.
