PROJECT BRIEF

A pioneer in non-invasive prenatal testing for reproductive health, Sequenom partnered with Buchanan to rebrand their flagship product. MaterniT21 is prenatal test for at-risk expectant mothers and can identify specific fetal chromosomal conditions. After an extensive discovery and research process, we determined that the best approach was to focus on the product’s key differentiators: superior science and precise accuracy.

The result was a clean and approachable look and messaging platform that simplified confusing technical information and made sure to keep the human aspects front and center. Sequenom has had great success with this product, resulting in the company’s recent acquisition by LabCorp.
